I say this because it wasn't that long ago that I started blogging, and had to Google so many things that I was afraid to ask.(Admit it, you've Googled funny things :)

- What does affiliate mean
I would consider myself only about half-way figured through it all, and haven't ABOUT found the time to dedicate to making monetization more profitable, I do have some easy places to start!
Monetize: To make money from your blog
Affiliate Programs; you advertise for a company using a special link. Whenever a purchase is made resulting from your special link, you get a commission.
Sponsored Posts; you write a website review, or generic article including the clients link for a fee.
Ad Networks; such as Google, you place a code on your blog that produces various ads, and get paid by the click.
Traditional Advertising; you place the clients button or text link in your sidebar for a fee
