I would LIKE to read, but...
It's kind of sad, because I used to be such an avid reader. I'd like to pick up a book that I get sooooo wrapped up in, that I can't put it down and hours fly by. Unfortunately, 4 kids, 3 blogs, 2 businesses, and a very dirty house keep me from my passion. BOO dirty house!
I have found a solution however, to keeping the creative side of my brain (left? right?) engaged while allowing me to maintain my crazy schedule... Audio books are my new fave!

I love audio books...I still prefer the "real" kind but audio books have been perfect for me during long drives, while running errands, etc. I still like to read when I get into bed, or during lazy weekends. :) The house can wait....
you found a great reading alternative because of your busy schedule. i, on the other hand, can not get the hang of listening to a book even on long drives - it makes me sleepy lol. i still prefer to have a hard copy with me.
I definitely have to try audiobooks one of these days! Funny how in all my life, I have never listened to an audio book (yes, it's true!).
Laura and I tried audio books on car trips, but
a) I enjoy talking too much / can't shut up for that long (unless she's asleep)
b) find it too distracting while driving
One day, I'll give them another shot.
