YEAH BACON!
Skillet bacon spread is a condiment called bacon jam..you say what?.. that’s right, it is made from niman ranch bacon and rendered down along with onions, balsamic and other spices . It cooks for several hours until it is a perfect blend of smoky, tangy, savory and slightly sweet….basically spreadable bacony goodness!
This stuff is great too! It is similar to German potato salad seasonings. I tried it out as a bruschetta topping, mixed in a beef stew for some BAM, mixed into the dressing for a tomato and cucumber salad...THAT one was goooood!
This is one of those things that you end up adding to everything, until it's gone =(
